Cheryl Laskey is the Founder & CEO of Bloom Empowerment Consulting, with over 25 years shaping global beauty, retail excellence, and people-led commercial performance across the UK, EMEA, and Emerging Markets.
She spent more than two decades at the forefront of one of the world’s most iconic cosmetics brands, contributing to its international growth, cultural influence, and retail evolution.
She led talent acquisition and capability development to fuel rapid expansion across Emerging Markets, influencing how beauty was created, taught, sold, and experienced at scale.
Cheryl was part of a movement that built not just a brand, but an industry - pioneering innovation, building communities, and inspiring a generation of artists to believe in more than just makeup: a philosophy, a culture, and a career.
Through years spent inside high-growth retail environments, Cheryl developed a deep understanding of the relationship between human capability, conversion, and commercial performance. She believes the future of physical retail will be defined by how effectively brands maximise human connection, customer experience, and execution within increasingly competitive consumer environments.
As consumer behaviour continues to evolve, Cheryl believes a double generation of growth - Gen Z and Gen Alpha - is driving renewed demand for emotionally engaging, experience-led retail spaces that work seamlessly alongside automation and digital influence.
